COMING SOON - A new feature is VIP training and Chapter training resources. With pre-approved access, training materials and pre-recorded sessions will be made available.
March 2021 is the First Annual ThinkFirst Awareness Month. All ThinkFirst Chapters are encouraged to complete some type of Injury Prevention event throughout the month of March to promote ThinkFirst Awareness. Please track the number of participants, presentations, etc., and take a photo. Email details with photo to jill.braselton@nm.org

Congratulations to the award winners:
Injury prevention education is key to reducing traumatic injuries. As we navigate this unprecedented global situation, ThinkFirst is waiving the $1,500 new chapter application and training fee and providing virtual training sessions free of charge for the next three months. All injury prevention professionals interested in starting a ThinkFirst chapter to include ThinkFirst educational programs in upcoming injury prevention programming are eligible for this incentive.

The ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation presented their 2019 awards at this year’s ThinkFirst Conference on Injury Prevention, held at the Wyndham Bayside in San Diego. Through the annual awards program, ThinkFirst honors exceptional individuals and chapters demonstrating excellence by delivering outstanding prevention programs that support the three primary components of our mission: education, research and advocacy.
Exciting news out of ThinkFirst of the Ark-La-Tex. Ronald “Bubba” Fletcher joined the team as a full-time member this past September. Bubba has been a ThinkFirst Voice for Injury Prevention (VIP) speaker and very committed to the mission of ThinkFirst for the past 10 years. The Shreveport Times recently spoke with Bubba about his inspiring story. Congratulations Bubba, in this new and exciting role. We are lucky to have you!
